Like many modern love stories, ours began on Hinge on June 9, 2025. We matched, started texting, and eventually met up in person on June 15, 2025 at Pitch 25. The connection was there—but awkward timing and mutual uncertainty meant neither of us quite picked up on the hint to plan date number two. Life happened… and then Sergio ghosted.Or so we thought.After a week of silence and a moment of bravery, Maria finally sent the message that changed everything:“ So are we just going to ghost each other?” Turns out, we were both just equally bad at reading signals. Sergio replied, we laughed about it, and decided to try again—this time with a second date that truly set the tone for our relationship: Costco. Somewhere between bulk groceries and oversized carts, we realized this just felt right. Even at Costco, he asked if I had eaten? I still didn’t get what he meant, so I responded, of course I had lunch. He then proceeds to say, what I want to ask is “Will you have a meal with me?, that lead us to El Tiempo.From that day on, we were inseparable. What started with texts turned into constant conversation, adventures big and small, and countless everyday moments that felt extraordinary simply because we were together.On November 21, 2025, Sergio proposed, and Maria didn’t hesitate for a second.
